The 39th Union World Conference on Lung Health of the International Union Against Tuberculosis and Lung Disease (The Union) will be held at the Palais des Congrès in Paris, France, 16 to 20 October 2008.
The theme of the Conference is “Global threats to lung health: the importance of health system responses”.
It is hoped that the 2008 World Conference will not only provide the platform for a rigorous assessment of the global threats to lung health, but that it will also contribute to the commitment of lung health professionals to act globally for a better coordinated and more effective response.
